Dr. Masibo Lumala has been appointed the Director — Institute of Open and Distance Learning (IODL), Moi University — following interviews conducted by the Council Appointments & Promotions Board held in October 2022.
Dr. Lumala takes over from Prof. Rose Rutto-Korir, who proceeded to take up a new position at the Koitalel Arap Samoei University College.
Alongside his appointment, there were other appointments of Directors in various Directorates, Institutes and Campuses of Moi University as follows:
- Prof. Michael K. Korir — Director, Directorate of Quality Assurance, Compliance & Performance Contracting
- Dr. Bernard K. Malakwen — Director, Nairobi Campus
- Dr. David K. Kosgei — Director, Coast Campus
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Isaac S. Kosgey, on behalf of Moi University, wishes them well as they take up their new positions.
